PARVUM OPUS CARTA is our growing collection of patterned papers, designed and created by studio founder, Erika Stefanutti. Erika has spent many years refining her expertise as an artist and designer, developing the meticulous techniques and gestures that go into each piece made in the studio. These distinctive, tactile paper designs are the product of her unique perspective as a maker, and her ongoing studies into decorative arts and design history. This pattern celebrates the ancient craft of millefiori glass, which originated in Egypt and Mesopotamia ca. 1400 BCE, and features a myriad of Erika's hand-painted motifs on a pastel pistachio green ground.
 
Our papers are printed in the United States on a heavy 70# paper with a velvety matte finish, making them perfect for bookbinding, crafts or gift wrapping. Each pattern is sold in rolls of five sheets, measuring 20" x 29" each, and is of course also available as an option for most bespoke Parvum Opus projects.
