The Parvum Opus Pencil Kit has arrived! Our studio is dedicated to celebrating craft, and we've created this kit to share the joy of making with all of you. Among the first offerings from Parvum Opus (a long time ago, now!) were desk blotters, pencil cups and paper-wrapped pencils. We used to refer to them as 'candy for your desk' and they definitely still have that cheerful quality, but they're much more than just a visual treat. A pencil represents simplicity, possibility, inventing with corrections and iterations, deep thoughts and daydreams-- the analog. A cup full of pencils on a desk, nightstand or side table is an invitation to make a little drawing or write a poem.
 
With their candy-like boxes, we think our pencil kits will make the most thoughtful and charming gifts, too. Make a set of six paper-wrapped pencils for yourself, or wrap the pencils, pop them into the box and give the finished pencils and a Carta  notebook as a gift. Each triangular box includes six very nice pencils, a mixed assortment of pre-cut, exquisite printed, silk-screened and hand-marbled papers, and printed instructions. 
 
As with every project at Parvum Opus, we've attended to every detail in designing this kit. The striking triangular boxes have been masterfully crafted to Erika Stefanutti's design by a team of very nice people in Detroit, and feature five of her original stripe patterns and a colorful wax seal at one end. 
 
Box designs and paper strip patterns will vary- please let us choose for you. For large orders, we'll make sure to vary the stripe patterns so you get some of each.
